Thoret Swimming Program & Private Lessons – Policies

General Information

• Enrollment applies for the entire semester.

• By registering, you commit to attending all scheduled lessons.

• Any prior exceptions agreed with parents are honored as arranged.

Group Lessons (SYK )

• €25 cancellation fee applies if you decide not to start after invoicing.

• Lessons are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled if missed.

Itäkeskus swimming pool

• €25 cancellation fee applies if you decide not to start after invoicing.

• Last-minute cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full, and the lesson is considered missed.

• Lesson packages must be completed within 2–3 months.

• Missed lessons due to health reasons can be rescheduled, but the package must still be completed within 2–3 months.

• Rescheduling requires at least 24 hours notice.

Payments

• Invoices are due within 10 days of issue.

• Late payments incur a €5 fee per reminder.

• Prior agreements with parents are exceptions only if explicitly arranged.

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintaining the hygiene of children and the pool is a top priority.

• If the pool must be closed due to a hygiene incident (e.g., child vomiting), cleaning costs are charged to parents.

• Inform staff of any health issues affecting shared pool use.

Lesson Duration

• Lessons are valid for the semester. No refunds for unused lessons.

Additional Guidelines (Optional)

• Dress Code: Swimwear, towels, caps, and equipment required.

• Health Policy: Children with contagious illnesses should not attend lessons.

• Behavior Policy: Expected conduct in pool and changing areas.

• Emergency Policy: Procedures in case of accidents or injuries.
